Where to start.....

Can't believe I haven't had a blog post since July! Whoa!
Well, the end of 2010 was spent taking photos and building Britt Osburn Photography: www.brittosburnphotography.com. I was able to buy a new "fancy" camera and I am so ready to take on 2011! With some new marketing strategies and equipment, I'm really looking forward to this year.
With all that happening, I have also decided to go back to school (yay!). May of this year I'm going to take on a 16 month teaching credential program through CalState TEACH. I'm nervous and excited all at the same time! My friend Tiffany and I are going to tackle the challenge together, so that should ease the pain a little. ;0
Sean and I have been going strong for what will be 11 months in a few weeks (woohoo!) I just love that guy to pieces. Not sure how I got so lucky, but glad I did!
Hoping to get a little traveling in before I have to hit the books but we'll see if that works out.
Other then that, just enjoying life, hanging out with friends, watching my friends kiddos grow and generally happy! ; )

Summer So Far....

So, I was going to do a post on how much stuff I have done in the month of July, but there were some really important things that went on in June!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First of all, Sean graduated from ELAC/SMU Respiratory Therapy Program! Yay! We got to celebrate the accomplishments with all the graduates at the Castaway Restaurant in Burbank. It was a great night, they were all so excited to be done with school! It was time to celebrate!
The next day, we packed up Sean's stuff and he moved back home to good ole' Sanger, CA!
A few weeks later we had a graduation celebration/welcome home party/luau for Sean at my house. Our backyard was finished in the nick of time, I mean barely. The party started at 7:00 and the crew was working until 6:00 that evening! Crazy! But, it was a great night! Sean was welcomed home and congratulated with open arms!
We kicked off July in Shaver Lake for 4th of July weekend. Relaxed with my family on the lake. Made our way down the hill on the 4th and had a mellow evening with the Willinghams. It was a great weekend.
The following weekend we toasted to the heat of the summer at Summer Sizzle! Wow, it was a warm one! Had a great night eating, drinking & dancing!
July 14th we celebrated 4 months of dating! Yay! Go us! ; ) I made Sean a nice homemade dinner and he brought me some beautiful flowers. It was a great night!
Had one of our annual girls trips, went to Terri's new cabin in Shaver! It was such a fun time! We spent Saturday trying to stay cool by the "cold" tub. I love my family!
Its been so much fun finally being in the same town as my love. We have cooked some yummy dinners and just been able to spend time together. Summer has been so great so far! Pic below was our version of surf n' turf. Yummo!!!
This past weekend we took a trip to Paso Robles to the Mid-State Fair to see 311, The Offspring, and Pepper! Sean got the tickets from yours truly for his birthday, it was a blast!
So, thats a little of what has been going on in the last few weeks in my life.... ; )
Been doing a lot of photography which is awesome! Have my first wedding under my belt and my second one next weekend! Yay!
Photos to come soon: http://www.brittosburnphotography.blogspot.com/
It's been a busy summer so far, but a great one at that!
SF trip with my lady friends...
Our weekend was filled with laughs, it really was a great trip!
Us at lunch. It was delicious! Although, the service was terrible, we made the best of it. Ash & I definitely enjoyed our two glasses of wine. We were on vacation, that's what you do.
After shopping we decided to stop at Foley's for some adult beverages. Ash & Tiff had Magners Cidar, Ash W. & I had Chimay (my fav). We were so silly!
Us after a few more cocktails...
After Foley's it was time to go back and get ready for dinner. And, since we shopped it up, we had to wear our new purchases... We got dolled up to go out!
We had dinner at the Stinking Rose - they serve all their dishes with lots and lots of garlic. It is so yummy!
I ordered the lamb shank. It was amazing!
After dinner we went to the dueling piano bar next to Foley's. What a blast!
We sat next to a bachelorette party. The bachelorettes friends weren't very fun, so we decided to dance and sing with her.
After a long night, we woke up early for our bus tour. We went to the Golden Gate Bridge and all the way to Saucelito. It was really fun, but COLD...
The hoodie crew. I didn't wear one, so I wasn't cool.
Some SF architecture...
Our tour pretty much ended after we left the GGB.
We had clam chower in bread bowls for lunch, then hung out for a while before we made our trek home. What a fun weekend! Can't wait to do it again! ; )
