Nice Little Saturday

Yesterday I had a nice little Saturday with my prego friend. : ) The afternoon started out by me being totally caught off guard by the newest accessory in her car, a car seat. I opened the car door to jump in, threw my purse on the floor, ran inside my apartment to grab my camera. There was no way I could resist taking a photo. I can't believe how real it is now. Colin should be here any day!
After the shock of reality wore off, we headed to TJ Maxx. We really just putzed around. I got Ashley to squat down about 10 times and was pretty impressed to see how graceful she was. A purchase of $.70 notecards later, we were off to our next destination, Starbucks drive thru. I thought this pregnant lady wasn't supposed to have any tea so I gave her a hard time. But, at this point, I guess she should be able to do pretty much anything she wants, so I left her alone. We then set out to our next stop, JoAnn's. We walked around JoAnn's for almost ever it felt like. I found a birthday card for a dinner that night and thought I was ready to check out until we walked up to the registers and there were about 150 people in line. We looked at each other and decided there was no way in heck we were waiting, so we left for our last destination, Hallmark. At this point, the perfect birthday card for Tommy's aunt had to be a song card. Ash and I probably opened every single card in the store and laughed everytime. I am certain the employees wanted us out of there! I found the perfect card, with the Gretchen Wilson song, "I'm here for the party!" But, before we made it to pay, Ashley and I found our new favorite song. The card was in the children's birthday section and the song is from the movie Madagascar II.... We laughed so hard at the song, "Big & Chunky," we both thought we wet our pants! HEHEHE So, I attached the music video, it is just as funny!
A long afternoon of fun came and went. : ) It was, a nice little Saturday!
