Getting Crafty for the Moms...

So, one of my co-workers paints a pot for every new employee on their birthday. How sweet, right? Well, after walking around my office about one billion times and noticing all the different designed pots, I thought, how cool would that be for Mother's Day? Seeing that I have a lot of moms and grandmas in my life, it was a challenge, but I was willing to try. So, I asked my co-worker what type of paint, brushes, etc. I should get to start my project. She was kind enough to loan me an entire box of paint, brushes, design ideas, hot glue gun, and extra glue! Amazing! I think she saved me about $200.00! (I have no clue if that is even a correct figure, but it would have been a lot none the less). So, Tom and I went out on Monday and bought all the terracotta pots. She brought the paint and supplies Tuesday, and I got to work Wednesday and today. We went out and chose the perfect plant for each lady, and here are my creations! I love them all! The only down fall.... I didn't make one for myself! So, I can't wait for Sunday to get here to pass these out to my mom, grandmas, and Tom's mom and grandma! Yay! I hope they love the homemade touch! Each pot is different from the other either by color, embellishment, or design. This was a really fun project, and I am pretty proud of how these turned out!
